GrooveDelicious is produced by a dedicated team of professionals. Actually, strike that. We all just love what we're doing - it's more like play than work! I mean honestly, we get to dream up super-cool stuff, then to do it! We get to meet cool celebrities, pull off amazing stunts, play with kids like you all day long!

However - rather than have us blather on - why don't you ask us questions about us - and we'll answer them here. You can ask by emailing us.

Q - How long does it take to make a show?
Well, once we're come up with the idea, it take around 2 or 3 months to plan the feature story of a show. Most of them are then shot within a few days, with extra time needed for Beyond Cool, Kids on the Couch, the intros and outros and so on. I'd say an average show has about three days of shooting in it, distributed throughout a few months as we get to different bits. The show then goes into edit which can happen over a few more months. There's a lot of work to do!
Q - How do you pick who goes on 'Kids on the Couch' or 'Beyond Cool'?
It's actually pretty random. People email in saying that they'd like to be in it - or we put out the call via our newsletter (be sure to join) - and then we cast it. Often we need 'Beyond Cool' people to have something special like a certain games console or an interest, for example, in Aura Photography. That generally narrows it down enough to pick someone.
Q - Who is the coolest celebrity you've met?
That's hard to say - everyone is cool in a different way. The Matildas, for example, are great athletes and very genuine people. Andrew Gaze and Liz Ellis were very nice. All the authors, people like Matt Reilly and Lucy Cavendish are great. However, in the 'cool' stakes I'd have to rate the band 'The Living End'. These guys are the real thing when it comes to rock stars - and it was fun to hang out with them.
Q - What's your most embarrassing moment on the show?
I'm always doing goofy stuff, making mistakes and so on - it's part of the fun. Most of it doesn't make it onto the show, thank goodness. It's just between me, the crew and the guests. I must admit, though, that it's always a bit embarrassing putting on makeup. Yes - it's part of the gig - I have to wear foundation under lights - all TV people do, including the boys. I always find it a little awkward.
Q - What's the most fun part about doing GrooveDelicious?
It's hard to say, since I've been dreaming about doing this for many, many years. I recorded a bunch of albums, wrote a bunch of books and did a lot of live shows before I did TV - hosting the Rock Eisteddfod was a highlight.

I think the most fun episode to shoot, however, was Aquatic Olympics - where I got to ride dolphins around in the pool and mess about in the water with them for days on end. It was great - I'm a water baby it seems.

Most satisfying is putting an episode to bed - sending the final tape to the network, ready to broadcast.
